More than 25 years later, while preparing her new
album in English, Céline Dion agreed to reconnect with the tale that revealed
it to the American public. Indeed, Disney decided to launch a new film
adaptation of his cult film, inspired by the news of Jeanne-Marie Leprince de
Beaumont. In the title roles, the audience will be able to admire Emma Watson,
Luke Evans and Ewan McGregor, while the soundtrack includes the cult song
"Beauty and the Beast", reprinted by Ariana Grande and John Legend.
Moreover, the soundtrack of the film will contain three new songs, composed by
Alan Menken, who already officiated on the animated version of Disney. And one
of these unreleased will be played by Céline Dion! Surprise reunion takes place
on a ballad called "How Does A Moment Last Forever", written by Tim
Rice, (Elton John, "Aladdin," "The Lion King" ...).
"Being part of the original Disney movie was a
magical experience in my life and I am even more honored to repeat this
experience a second time," Celine Dion said in an official statement,
while her song will echo repeatedly in the Feature film. Notice to fans, this
remake of "Beauty and the Beast" will be released in France on March
22, 2017!
